The launch of the Isotopes in Biogenic Silica Working Group took place 26-27 April 2006 at a hotel overlooking Lake Windermere (Ambleside, UK) creating a convivial atmosphere.

 

The workshop aimed to set an agenda for the group, facilitate collaborations, and identify funding opportunities.

 

There was a mixture of invited talks and ample opportunity for discussion.
